In order for the Inuvik Fire Department to provide a professional service, the department is equipped with the following equipment/apparatus:

The Fire Department also has a fully equipped radio communications centre which includes alarm receiving equipment. The Fire Department monitors the fire alarm panels of 65 buildings located within the Town of Inuvik. Firefighters are dispatched through a radio pager system which transmits an alarm to individual pagers and radios that the firefighters and officers carry.
