It will be beneficial in acclimatizing to your new home and connecting with the community when you do arrive.

Getting to Inuvik is quite simple. If you are looking for an adventure on your way North and would like to cross the Arctic Circle, why not drive the Dempster Highway from Dawson City, YK on Canada’s only all-weather road. You will experience the winding unpaved gravel roads whilst admiring the local flora and fauna.

If you are coming from further a field or would prefer to fly North over the mountains, we have three airlines that serve the North and Inuvik: Air North and Canadian North. Depending on your location you may need to arrange a flight with another airline before connecting to a Northern Airline, so please consider your connection dates and times.
