Current Opportunities

Inuvik is a growing, dynamic community that serves as the hub for the Beaufort Delta Region. The community offers amenities and services which far exceeds any expectations for a Town of its size and location.

The Town of Inuvik is a relatively large organisation which employs up to 75 residents. Guided by Council and lead by The Mayor and Senior Administrative Officer, the Town of Inuvik offers Municipal Services to its residents in a friendly, respectful and professional manner.

The Town of Inuvik is a great organisation to work for; we encourage initiative, support personal development, and all in a safe and comfortable environment. We also offer a competitive salary and a very generous Benefits Package and Pension Plan.

Please keep in mind the following guidelines when applying for any opportunities with the Town of Inuvik:

  • You must be a Canadian Citizen or landed immigrant, and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Please include a cover letter that refers to the competition, when stating your interest in any permanent full time positions.
  • Please include up to date contact information and refer to the position you are interested in when applying for casual or seasonal employment.
  • If applying by email, we prefer attachments to be in Microsoft Word (v. 2007 or earlier), Rich Text Format, or as a PDF file.
  • Only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. We would like to thank everyone who has shown interest in joining our team here at the Town of Inuvik.
