Great Northern Arts Festival

2011 marks the 23rd year of the Great Northern Arts Festival – the largest festival of its kind in Canada! Our 10 day festival includes up to 80 artists and 40 performers from across the North and beyond, a 4000 piece gallery and a packed schedule of events. We were recently named one of the Top 25 Festivals in North America by Rand McNally Maps and have been recognized as one of the Top 50 Summertime Events in Canada by the Globe and Mail newspaper. Over the years, the Festival has remained true to its vision and mandate by providing artists with an opportunity for professional development, networking, and promotion of their unique products on the world stage. This year the thematic focus of our festival is “Jewellery”, rendered in any medium; we’re looking forward to some fabulous workshops and entertainment.
