Medical Services

Inuvik’s New Hospital opened in April of 2003.  The facility consists of 26 beds with 9 Doctors and 32 GDN’s on staff(General Duty Nurses).

Services offered by the Inuvik Regional Hospital are two family clinics, an Emergency Room, Acute care beds, Long Term Care facility, Rehabilitation Services, Public Health, Social Services, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory.  Specialist services includes Telehealth, psychiatry, dermatology, pediatrics, ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat), Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthodontics, Orthopedics and Internal Medicine.  All specialists are on a varying rotational basis (depended on need).
