Invitation to Tender The Town of Inuvik is inviting interested contractors to submit bids on the abovementioned project. The project generally involves collecting and transporting household, commercial and institutional solid waste to the Town's Solid Waste Disposal Facility. This contract is expected to commence on  01 January 2026, with termination to be on 31 December 2031, making for a total of a   5-year contract. The closing date for this tender is  30 May 2025

Joint Task Force (North) (JTFN) will conduct Operation NANOOK-NUNALIVUT 2025 (Op NA-NU 25) from February 23 to March 9 in and around Inuvik, NWT. To help support the Canadian Military and Operation Nanook, we ask for your continued cooperation by limiting loud activities during late evening hours. Military staff are staying in the building and sleeping below the fitness center, we ask that patrons be mindful of this for the duration of the operation.
